Our Tree...

Every year we go to our favourite tree farm to pick out our Christmas tree. Unfortunately this year we were unable to make that trip, so we picked out a tree at our favourite nursery. What usually takes at least 4 hours, because the tree farm has amazing children's activities, took us maybe 20 minutes! And that included picking out 2 poinsettias too. The kids were pretty wound up about decorating it, and they did a great job. I remember when it used to be just the bottom of the tree decorated!

It was funny listening to the 2 of them, as they pulled out the ornaments that they had made over the years. Jade found an angel that she made with her face glued on it and she was proud of it all over again.

This weekend we also had a taste of what life would be like without the internet. It is amazing to us how much we rely on the internet everyday. It's become as necessary as the phone!! Mike thought it was pretty funny how stressed I was without it!.
