September is almost over....

So we are back to routine. Jade's back to gymnastics and has started Sparks..which is Brownies for the little girls. She loves that she has to wear a uniform...(obviously she didn't go to St. Pat's for 4 years!) and all the uniform is is a cute little pink t-shirt that says "I promise to share and be a friend" She goes with her friend Emily, which is great for them because they go to different schools and don't get a whole lot of time to spend together. She is LOVING school, and is actually bummed out when it's not her day to go. She goes full days Tuesday, Thursday and every other Friday. She plays with the boys...James is her best friend at school!
Mark likes school too, but won't admit it! We went to meet the teacher (or creature, as he called it) night, and he sits smack dab in the middle in the front row. Yikes!! I thought, what did he do that put himself right THERE!! But, his teacher said he is a "gem"! And that he points out all her mistakes to her. He will be starting hockey soon....he's anxiously waiting! Mark has spent a lot of time at laser tag for different friends birthday parties. It seems that is where all the boys want to have their parties. There's not a whole lot of choices here in this town! Anyway, that is where Mark is now, as we speak. Mike and Chris are trying to watch a race and Jade is yakking through the whole thing!

Mike's cousin Sue and her family were here this weekend from Brantford. Her son Jarod played hockey here and we went to watch. Jarod played against a team that was mostly Mark's friends so it was strange for us to be cheering for our kids and Brantford. Brantford lost.... But we had a great visit with Sue and her family. It had been a couple of years since we saw them last and her kids have grown up and are HUGE!!!!

Until next time,
Sherri
