Jade went to a birthday/sleepover party at Teeny Tiny Tia's last night. Tia really is the tiniest little thing...she looks like she could be starting kindergarten instead of grade 2. There were 8 girls (brave mom and dad) until about 10pm when: "Hannah had to go home because she ate too much and threw up 3 times." When the parents were picking up their girls, each of us were told this by every girl there!! Poor Hannah....that might be all that they will remember for years to come.
When I picked Jade up from the party this morning all the girls were wearing these t-shirts provided by the birthday girl.

Jade was pretty tired later this afternoon, but she is never too tired to work on something crafty. She bought Pixo's with her garage sale money and was anxious to try it out.

Mark tried it out too! But tried to run away from the camera so there would be absolutely no proof of it! Too slow....

Last week Mark and Jade had their pictures taken. The studio is going to use this shot in their book of samples!

Dad's Pictures

I'm looking at the pictures that my dad has on his laptop and there are many that I've forgotten about. It's been great sitting here watching them as a slide show. These are some of the old ones that I'm sure I haven't ever posted here.

• Jade fell asleep laying on her bedroom floor half under the bed. She looks so young here....her cheeks were still chubby!
  

• Mark was in grade 1 in this picture. He's still missing his front teeth!
  

• This was on Karen and Ed's beach (our trailer is in the background at the back of their backyard). That's Mike holding onto buried Mark's head.

• Me and my dad on my wedding day. Yes, it rained! See my big hair:)

• Jade wanted to have curly hair. I found some curlers but her hair just refused to be curly. They lasted about 10 minutes! The funny thing is when we were in China for her adoption our guide told us that Jade has "naturally curly hair" Too funny!!
