We camped at MacGregor Provincial Park this past weekend. The park has bike trails that wind through the woods so we went for a lot of rides over 3 days. Jade did awesome riding her bike on sometimes uneven surfaces. She didn't fall but a couple of times she rode right off the trail. She even rode right into the bright orange gate that prevents cars from driving on the trail. It's a good thing that the gate had give to it because she rode into it at full speed. We rode our bikes to the beach, to the candy store and to the visitor center. On one ride we found a lake which was home to a ton of frogs. The funniest thing (and I didn't have a camera with me) was watching Mike and the kids laying on their stomaches on a boardwalk, leaning over the mud trying to catch the frogs. The kids were yelling at Mike "There's one!!" "Get that one Dad!" and Mike would almost fall in trying to catch the little hoppers! He did catch some and when they would jump out of his hands we would all be laughing.
- There were more frogs on the rocks in the lake. This frog was very friendly and let the kids pet it! Jade was even scratching it's chin.

- The butterfly nets came in handy this weekend. There were quite a few flying around our site. Everyone tried to catch one and only Mike and Jade were successful. Jade's butterfly was happy in the net, even when she tried to set it free it wanted to stick around!
