STILL NO SNOW!!!

Weather Network had warnings out for a winter storm, so this morning we were prepared to wake up to a large amount of snow and ice and guess what we got... ice and a dusting of snow. A light dusting...you can see green grass poking through the snow we got. The icicles are no bigger than my baby finger.

Mike was at the dollar store today and bought packages of Chinese lanterns! Just in time for Gotcha Day and Chinese New Year! We are thinking of throwing a New Year's Party to celebrate the Year of the Pig, and now we have some awesome lanterns.

Jade's little blond friend Mackenzie told us that she's Chinese. Yep, her nana took her out for Chinese food so now she's Chinese, just like Jade! Hee hee!!

Mark's room looks exactly the same as it did last Monday at this time. I think he appreciates having a clean room and has worked hard to maintain it. Jade's on the other hand, is Polly Ville again. I almost sprained my ankle stepping on something on my way to the dresser. Arrrrr.....
