Mark and Jade are eagerly counting down the days until Christmas morning! December 1st couldn't get here fast enough, because they knew that they would be in charge of this very important job....the advent calendars!
Below is the one Jade made in school. She filled in every square with numbers 1-24 and each day it is her job to glue a cotton ball in the square. We think it maybe Santa's beard by the time it's done. What do you think? Ummmm....We'll post the finished product Dec 24 and see if we were right!
Below is our advent calendar in the living room. They have to take turns opening this one. Each little box has something to hang on the tree. It's wrapped in tissue, so they don't know until it's opened. 
These 2 calendars are the Playmobil calendars and they are neat! Everyday they open a little box and there is a toy inside. By the time it is all finished there is a cute little scene made up of all the toys. The one is a winter theme with a snowman, hockey and a little skiier guy. The other one is a nativity scene with all the animals.
Like I said the countdown is on!!
